Wellness Circle meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 2pm PST/5pm EST/10pm UTC.
Women's Wellness Circle is a Women's Studies Online educational initiative aimed at prioritizing women's unique biological and social health and wellness needs throughout our life stages. Through educational presentations, guest speakers, resource sharing and virtually-based discussions, we'll learn about health and wellness - broadly defined - within this circle.
Felicia's Memoir
Join us for an intimate conversation with Felicia Klingenberg, featuring readings from her new book, A Little Bit of God: A Memoir of Recovery and Discovery. Hear about her journey of healing, insight, and self-discovery, and take part in a lively discussion.
A Bit About The Author
Felicia Klingenberg is a former college English and creative writing instructor. She began her professional life as a journalist and worked briefly for "Canada's national newspaper" before abandoning that career. Now that she no longer works for a living she fights for the rights of women and children to live free of violence, exploitation and abuse. She would like to leave the feminist waves behind and found WAFE – women against female exploitation.
While the largest portion of her attention has had to be focused on her recovery, she has enjoyed inspiring people with a love of the written word and the power of memoir to affect change. She also indulges in a passion for classical vocal music by singing with small amateur opera companies and classical choirs. She has created an entirely self-made wardrobe purely as an excuse to use her hands and get out of her head.
Find her on the socials as @ripsintolabels.
