Sistacircle: Every Tuesday at 10am PT/1pm ET/5pm UTC

Sistacircle is a weekly, drop-in educational support group for women survivors of male violence and/or the threat of male violence. Rooted in feminist theory, this circle is a space for reflection, learning, and resistance. Free and peer-led, it centres survivors in their own liberation. Join us!

Feminist Activism

We invite you to discuss feminist based actions of any kind. Our focus is on organized feminist activism either in person or virtually aimed at ending women's exploitation and male violence against women, fighting for sex based rights, and creating social and systemic change to better women's lives.

Because the theory is based in the experience of women's lives, it is part of the value system of Radical Feminism that "the personal is political" ~ Radically Speaking, 1996, Robyn Rowland and Renate Klein

Questions To Consider

  • How did you first become involved in feminist activism? To help jog your memory, did you first participate in feminist activism in post-secondary education? Did you join a women's group to organize against male violence against women?
  • What type of feminist activism are you most passionate about? For example, prison abolition for women? Lesbian-only spaces?
  • Do you have any feminist actions you are currently involved in which you would like to process here?
