The Challenges We’re Facing

Every day in Canada, women and girls face systemic violence, marginalization, and silencing.

  • In Canada, men kill women and girls at alarming rates – a man murders a women or girl every other day (Canadian Femicide Observatory for Justice and Accountability);
  • Indigenous women are 12 times more likely to be murdered or go missing;
  • Globally, on average, more than 5 women or girls are killed every hour by a man in their own family (UN Women);
  • Feminist education and survivor support are underfunded and inaccessible.

We believe women deserve more than statistics. They deserve solidarity, space, and support.

  • Sistacircle – a weekly, peer-led educational group for women survivors of male violence;
  • Sapphic Circle – a monthly space for lesbian women to connect, reflect, and resist;
  • Feminist Education – free, accessible online content and resources rooted in radical theory and real-world change;
  • Storytelling & Healing – amplifying survivor voices and stories of transformation;
  • Leadership by Indigenous Women – supporting an organization led by the women most impacted by colonization and patriarchy.

All programs are offered free of charge, and your support helps ensure they stay that way.
